I joined SPO because of its good reputation as a market leader in the offshore industry. I got to know of SPO through a friend and when I visited the SPO office in Douala in 2005.

At that time, the team was quite a young and friendly group of people, with some locals and a few expatriates. I had just graduated from college then and decided to apply for a job in SPO as it is a multi-national company and the main working language is English which makes it an ideal work environment for me.

My primary responsibilities include the management and maintenance of IT and computer systems at the outport, satellite offices and on board vessels to ensure smooth operations; management of finances and budgeting relating to IT purchases; liaising with suppliers and formulating service agreements, IT policies and procedures, users’ manuals and license agreements.
